Success Is A Journey

You will doubt yourself over and over and over.

You will get discouraged.

You will try to talk yourself out of it hundreds of times.

You will have people tell you you aren’t good enough.

People will push you down and rain on your parade.

You will lose friends.

Family will be unsupportive.

It will hurt.

You will feel pain.

You will cry tears of happiness, joy, stress, frustration, and disappointment. Sometimes all in the same day.

You will be confused, unknowing of which path to follow.

You will question your courage to continue.

The drive you once had will suddenly stall itself to neutral.

Mistakes will be made. Mishaps will happen. And hurdles will be laid before you.

Sacrifices will be made. Limits will be pushed.

But in the end, when you prove everyone else wrong, when you reach your goal…

It will all be worth it.

My family is everything to me and I often write about my journey through motherhood. This blog captures those special moments in life. This life isn’t easy. EXACTLY! If it were easy, everyone would do it, and then it wouldn’t be special. Thanks for the reminder.

I need to continue to read things like THIS while I think about homeschooling. It WILL be worth it if I do it but it’s going to be SO hard at first!

Success is such a very long journey! And you want to give up so many times along the way. Powering through is always so very worth it in the end.

I think as long as you continue to try you will be successful. And I’ll always be there to support you (or at least offer to share my martinis).

Very true. Sometimes we acheive our success and then life happens and you become lost until you realize you just have to start working towards a new goal.
